VIAAS Camera 1.1™ uses your broadband connection to connect to the VIAAS service and deliver professional quality functionality at the price point of consumer toys. Simple plug in a Power over Ethernet connection and VIAAS will do the rest, no network or camera configuration to get started.

The ultra-wide dynamic range sensor provides great images in even the toughest day time lighting situations. A built in IR Exchanger and B&W extended exposure night mode provides solid low light performance, and with an external IR Illuminator, VIAAS Camera 1.1 can see in the dark. The camera uses intelligent object based motion detection to capture video when things happen and ignore the hours of nothing. The same technology captures a representative image at a key point for every object crossing the frame. Combined, these make up an IntelEvent™ which are key to the fast, efficient VIAAS user interface.

VIAAS Camera 1.1 feature Bandwidth Shaping™ which "timeshifts" video and image uploads, to minimize bandwidth requirements, allowing several VIAAS cameras to work with your current Internet connection in most situations.

Included 4x zoom lens provides 25-70 degree horizontal field of view.

Included camera mount supports drop-ceiling and screw in installation.

Requirements

• VIAAS Service Subscription
• broadband Internet connection with at least 384kbps uplink bandwidth and 30 kbps bandwidth per camera with Bandwidth shaping (basic cable and DSL services at 384kbps can support up to 8 cameras on a dedicated link or 4 cameras with minimal impact on other applications).
• Power-over-Ethernet (class 2 device, less than 5 watts).
• VIAAS service requires modern browser supporting Flash 10.0.2.2 or higher (PC, Mac, Linux compatible).
